The Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery was established in 1999 as a multi-disciplinary body consisting of general surgeons, plastic surgeons, dermatologists, ear nose and throat surgeons, ophthalmologists and other doctors who were already specializing in cosmetic surgery.
